How do I wind it?
Put a finger on the brass key and turn it clockwise. It clicks every notch and gets firmer as the spring tightens. Let go and it plays.
How do I stop it?
Pull the small brass lever on the right side of the base. It coasts for a moment and rests.
How do I open the parent settings?
Tap Parents in the top right, then press and hold for two seconds. If holding is difficult, tap "Enter your year of birth instead".
Where are my packs after a new phone?
Open Parents, scroll down and tap Restore purchases. Apple checks your Apple ID and returns them. Family Sharing works if purchases are shared in your family group.
Can the music keep going for 30 minutes?
Yes. In Parents, choose Sleep mode 15, 30 or 45 minutes, or Until stopped. It plays slowly without winding and fades the screen down.
The key is hard for small hands.
In Parents, under Comfort, turn on Big key. The touch area grows; the art stays the same.
Does it work with the Silent switch?
By default it plays like Music does. In Parents, under Comfort, turn on Obey Silent switch if you want the switch to mean quiet.
Can I use it with VoiceOver or Switch Control?
Yes. The key, lever and roof knob are all reachable, and the whole parent sheet is labelled. See the Accessibility page.
Something is wrong with a purchase.
Nothing is charged unless Apple confirms. Try Restore purchases first. If a charge appears without the pack, write to us with the pack name; we will help with Apple.
